Hello everyone, Madi here.
As today marks my final day as General Manager at Johnny’s FitClub, I wanted to take a moment to share a personal reflection.

My journey with Johnny’s began not as a staff member, but as a member—someone walking in just like many of you did. Experiencing the community first-hand, then later transitioning into a leadership role, gave me a unique view of what makes this place so special.

Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know so many of you—some familiar faces who’ve been here since day one, others who came and found their way back, and many new ones who quickly became part of the family. That’s truly what Johnny’s FitClub is: a family. A space where people are welcomed by name, where authentic connections are made, and where fitness is more than a routine—it’s a shared journey.

One of the things that’s always stood out to me is how much our owners genuinely care. Having worked closely with them, I can tell you their hearts are in everything they do. They care deeply about every member, every trainer, and every team member—and it shows. Our trainers, with decades of experience, don’t just guide workouts—they support, encourage, and uplift.

Managing this gym has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Helping people transform—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally—has been beyond rewarding. And even though I’m stepping away, I will always consider the owners my family, the team my friends, and this community my home.

For those of you wondering what’s next: I’m moving six hours away to return to college and pursue my dream career. It’s bittersweet, but it feels like the right step at the right time.

If you’re someone who’s been on the fence about joining, or if you’re searching for that extra bit of motivation—take the leap. This place changed my life, and I truly believe it can do the same for you.

🐓 Chicken Breasts and Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs: Versatile and lean protein sources for all kinds of dishes. Perfect for grilling, baking, or stir-frying.

🥩 Lean Ground Beef (93%): High in protein, low in fat. Great for burgers, meatballs, and adding to pasta dishes without the unnecessary fat.

"More than five reps ain't cardio, bro."

Let’s break down why lifting weights and doing cardio serve different purposes. While weightlifting raises your heart rate by increasing blood pressure to fuel your muscles, it doesn't strengthen your heart like cardio does. Thinking something is cardio just because it spikes your heart rate is like saying running builds big legs because it makes them burn. Different activities, different results.

Cardio Benefits: Incorporating cardio into your routine WILL help you get stronger. Improved cardiovascular health enhances your recovery both during workouts and between sessions, allowing you to push harder and progress faster.
