5th place for LifeSport Pro Luke Tasker at 70.3 North Carolina, finishing just behind some of the strongest athletes in North America.
Under Coach Lance Watson’s program, Luke has been putting in some seriously long days and incredibly challenging sessions as he prepares for IRONMAN Maryland.
This race was a successful experiment to see how he’d perform over the half distance while keeping his focus firmly on the full.
A strong result in the middle of a big build.

So many impressive results this weekend that it’s hard to fit them all into one post!😅🔥
At IRONMAN Kalmar (Sweden), Zach Szypula (11:46) and Katie Elizabeth Szypula (12:29) both threw down tremendous performances on this beautiful course!

Age grouper phenoms Jami Marie Callahan-Brill (6:42) was 7th in her 75th half-ironman and Suzanne Perin was ALSO 7th - both these women had amazing swims and then locked in for great races in the heat!
Michelle Hebert finished her first long course duathlon ever at the Michigan Titanium Du!
Julia Gluck raced the Dog Day 5-miler and set a PR on this course...getting faster every year!
Tanya Appuhn Crates raced the Portland Crit - also the Oregon State Championships - and finished 2nd in her AG!

4 weeks to go.
You’ve been training harder than ever….
In the final push before the taper, here’s what we’re telling our athletes:
Prepare for the specific demands of the course by dialling in nutrition, training hills specifically, practicing positivity, and acclimating to the heat.
