We are thrilled to announce the incredible success of the 2025 TOUGH SHEEP Workout! With 500 participants, we raised $50,000 for wild sheep conservation and donated the full amount to the Wild Sheep Foundation. Plus, one lucky finisher won a Dall sheep hunt in the Mackenzie Mountains!

“I was going to absolutely exhaust everything I had physically and mentally going back into this rugged and dangerous terrain, also it’s the last year for over the counter tags and I knew I was in the right place spiritually. Watching the beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and stars at night it was easy to talk to God. I awed at his artwork, asked him to keep my girls safe as well as Sam and I, and also to give me the mental clarity to have a quick/clean harvest if the opportunity arose. Well he did all of that to a T, last day it all came together with a 40 yard shot and basically instant harvest on a huge 6x6. 22 hours, 13+miles, 3500+and- elevation changes of a pack out, and I am a new man mentally, physically, and spiritually. The bar has been raised for all facets of my life going forward and I know I can do all things if I have those 3 in order and I’ll be the example my daughter needs and deserves is this world.”

“I’ve been doing MTNTOUGH workouts for almost 3 years now, on and off depending on the season and my schedule. I’m 54 and this spring when I saw the Preseason Prep 50+ and it was as if you guys had been reading my mind.”

I mixed in some hiking and mountain biking trying to keep up with my son who is on the local xc mtn bike team.”

“I’m a 47 year old late onset hunter from BC Canada. There are no hunters in my family, but i’ve always dreamed of doing it. And as you can imagine the barrier to entry gets tougher and tougher as we age. I finally had time in my life to pursue Hunting and make my dream a goal. I started your MGD Bulletproof program in March; it happened to coincide with an LEH lottery mountain goat hunt i insanely put my name in for and actually drew… it was time to get real!”

“Getting a chance to harvest this bull was amazing and a
Blessing. I loved that when I’m hunting solo I can focus on
hauling one load out myself and then getting my growing
boys to help me get the rest out in the next trip. I never
once questioned if I was up to the challenge of the 15+ mile
day with half of it being 90lb loads. If I tried to pack that
much weight that far before MTNTOUGH I wouldn’t have
believed I could do it and if I did by some miracle… I would
have been very, very sore and much more likely to get hurt.
I really wasn’t sore the day after. I can’t say the same for
many of my tough workouts between Weight Vest workouts
, MGD’s, HP 20 and others. Thanks Coaches! I take back
at least a few of the rude things I’ve grunted at you over the
years.”

“I did make my boys pack pants in their packs and they
trudged along but each carried a quarter (one front and one
rear)I offered to debone for them but stubborn runs in the
family. I love my Exo K4 pack more every time I use it.
Youngest son might be due for a pack more ready for elk
quarters. Good luck to everyone still chasing …. Be ready at all times!”

“Big ol’ thanks to MTNTOUGH. I’ve been a crossfitter since ‘09. Owned a gym for 5 of those years. I was getting bored and tired of being “”injured”” all the time. So after some research I switched to MTNTOUGH late spring of this year. I pushed through the Full Gym Foundation and then rolled into Pre Season Prep. The change has been amazing. My ability to cover broken terrain has never been better. On a recent hunt I packed out two deer. One for a friend and the second was mine. Both 1.5 milers in hill country. This programming is sneaky but very very effective if you, me, I put in the time and work. At 55 years old (with one partial knee replacement) I feel this programming along with my diet will keep me in the hills and on the mountains into my 70’s or beyond. Don’t stop programming. Please.”
