We are incredibly happy to have 2025 Crown Medalist and 2026 Worlds medalist Fran Papasidero doing his 2026 Crown preparations at Brea.

Fran was a former rival of Nolan. They had a barnburner of a match at the 2025 Sacramento open that was widely shared in the BJJ community. Now they work together daily to bring the best versions of themselves to the 2026 Crown in November! He fits in super well with our academy culture and is just an all around nice person.

The approach has been film study, specific training in problem areas, shark tanking and plenty of rounds.

Both will be ready this November 8th!
