Great day for our competitors at the IBJJF Virginia Summer Open!
Megan made her blue belt competition debut and earned silver after a strong performance. Jeff submitted both opponents to win gold in his division, then took bronze in the open class. Coach Jake made his competition debut and gained valuable experience that will make him stronger. Pam also made her debut, earning gold in her division and silver in the open class!
We are proud of everyone who competed and every teammate who pushes them to improve in training. Great work, team!

Today, some of our kids stepped onto the competition mats at Jiu Jitsu World League for the very first time, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Watching their growth throughout their Jiu-Jitsu journey has been incredibly rewarding. The extra hours they’ve dedicated on the mats are paying off, and we can see their confidence, technique, and resilience improving every day.

At Gracie Barra Chantilly, our commitment goes far beyond preparing students to win matches. We are dedicated to carrying on the legacy of Master Carlos Gracie Jr. by teaching authentic, high-quality Jiu-Jitsu while helping our students develop the values that will guide them for a lifetime.

Through Jiu-Jitsu—and competition—our kids learn discipline, courage, humility, perseverance, and respect. Those are the lessons that matter most, both on and off the mats.
