Congratulations to our 10 CFMA competitors, who earned 28 medals at Champion’s Quest on October 11 in Silver Spring! We also celebrate Student of the Month Orion Rasler and Ruslan Basto’s Nationals success.

Vanguard volunteer request

Help us introduce CFMA to new families!

We need volunteers at our booth during the Rocktoberversary Fall Festival, Saturday, October 17, noon–5 p.m., at Vanguard Arts Center, 14155-J Sullyfield Circle, Chantilly.

Help welcome visitors, invite them to spin the prize wheel, and arrange a free CFMA Introductory Session. Volunteer for a two-hour shift or up to the full five hours.

CFMA/OKCC students, families and friends are invited to a special weekend of traditional Uechi-Ryu karate training, friendship and shared learning.

Master Nestor Folta is honored to be among an outstanding group of presenters that includes Christopher Cox, Dana Sheets, Stanley Crump, Michael Thompson, Philip Hoskins and Robert Wilke.

🥋 Saturday: 9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
🥋 Sunday: 10:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

A light lunch will be provided on Saturday.

There is no registration fee. Suggested donations help cover the facility costs.

This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your understanding of Uechi-Ryu, experience different teaching perspectives, meet practitioners from other schools and represent CFMA/OKCC as a team.
