Flash Back Friday!! Years ago I was learning this move called Meat Hooks. It requires ridiculous shoulder rotation and a unique different kind of strength to hold them. I was being coached by who is amazing an performer and coach! I was inspired to pull these videos up from a post I saw where she’s trying to perform a challenge using this kind of technique. Although it looked way harder! She gave it a solid try! 👏🏽👏🏽

73?? Ever done a HIIT class? No? Here please sign this waiver. 😂 Don’t ever underestimate because of someone’s age. I love seeing this type of experience, because it really give me faith that if we keep our bodies fit we can keep doing a lot of things in life for a lot longer than most think. Including one of my challenging Saturday morning HIIT classes. All it took was Bryan’s daughter Tracy to ask him to come to her workout! That’s a powerful way to keep the family together longer and stronger! 💪🏽
Want to Grow that 🍑?? This may be what you’ve been missing! 🤯 Just because you squat more doesn’t mean you always get more. Check your depth and form! Try your best to squat past 90 degrees and you may be surprised you now have to go lighter in weight. Don’t worry, that’s ok.
Now we begin to retrain your squat to reach past 90 degrees reaching that maximum depth and remember to tuck that tailbone under! Don’t stick it out! Save that for later! 😉 Also be sure you’re not leaning forward to compensate for the new depth. Feel that? Yep, there’s the other half of your 🍑!! Be patient and disciplined and before you know it you’ll back with your original squat weight and added weight in your rump shaker! Happy squating and now go give them 🎃 to talk about! 👀
