Not everybody who wants to ride a bike can just grab one and hit the trail.
Catalyst Sports is out to change that, and we're proud to help. They make mountain biking possible for people with physical disabilities, adaptive bikes, trained volunteers, and a community that shows up ride after ride. Last year, more than 1,000 people rode with them across Eastern Tennessee, Western North Carolina, DC/Maryland/Virginia, and North Central Georgia.
This year, Cane Creek and our local Catalyst chapter are raising money to build two adaptive bikes. One goes into the Catalyst fleet so more riders around here can use it. The other is a surprise for someone in our community who's about to get a bike of their own. We'll be building one live at the CRAFTED Bicycle & Gear Show at our HQ on September 27.
We make bike parts for a living, but that's never been the whole story.
