Winstar Farm is hiring for part-time barn help, 1 or 2 days per week (Monday - Wednesday) needed, hours 6:45am-1-45pm and/or 3:30pm-6:00pm. Experience preferred
Speak and Read English is a required.

Per hour starting pay for afternoon shifts only $16.00 per hour

A leisurely Saturday as most of the horses are just starting back to work after "Sports Medicine Wednesday", one fun flat lesson for Donna and Rocky, as everyone else enjoyed riding around together chatting. Just a fun goof-off day horsin around with friends.

A fantastically fun, educational and truly enjoyable day spent in the barn aisle as Dr Juan Carlos Gamboa took care of the Sports Medicine needs of 9 of our equine partners. Always a privilege and an educational opportunity when Dr Gamboa comes to take care of keeping our horses feeling and performing their best! The horsey chitchat, laughter, education, and old stories shared simply making the day even more fun. Even foster girl Wheelie Warrior Becarra Rose came over to get in on the fun, convincing Dr Gamboa wife to playing ball with her.

Saturday morning lessons on rain lightening delay our newest visitors the black-bellied whistling ducks were enjoying the weather from on top of the barn roof, a brief pause in the rain mid-morning was the perfect opportunity for our injured old boy Be Lucky/Clover to get a little hand grazing in right in front of the barn before he enjoyed a bath, extra apples, sugar cubs and visits from a few old friends and his current little girl Ellie. Midday Mother Nature offered an opportunity for a few great lessons. Afternoon was perfect for good friends to spoil their horses and enjoy hanging out together.

A busy Saturday morning of lessons, with a mid-morning lightening delay, the atmosphere around the barn fun including patriotic horse bonnets, Piney rooster showing patriotism with an American Flag under his wing (how many barns have a flag carrying rooster), add in an impromptu pizza lunch making for a fantastic fun start of horsin around together with friends on this Historic 4th of July Holiday!

Saturday May have been a Mother Nature keeping it on "broil" setting here in Southwest Florida kinda day, however the lessons were fantastic and the barn aisle filled with friendship.

A leisurely paced week of excellent lessons, relaxing hacking in the grass jump ring, and blooming gardenias and a magnificent sunflower with multiple flowers on one stall. Simply a beautiful fun week of horsin around together with friends here at Winstar Farm.
