(PART 5) Had the opportunity to catch up with one of my guy from Detroit, Michigan, Giani J. Hollie and a proud parent of a collegiate athlete.

I truly appreciate you taking the time to jump on Live with us and share your knowledge, experience, and love for the game. Your insight helped our young athletes gain a better understanding of the dedication, discipline, and mindset it takes to reach the next level.

Thank you for pouring into our kids and helping guide the next generation. Much respect and appreciation! 💯🏀🙏🏾

Parents, this is for you. 👇🏽

A lot of parents think that school practice and AAU tournaments alone will develop a Division I or professional athlete. The truth is, those are only pieces of the puzzle.

The athletes who separate themselves are putting in extra work when nobody is watching. They are working on skill development, strength training, conditioning, nutrition, film study, recovery, and building winning habits year-round.

School coaches coach teams. AAU coaches coach teams. But player development happens in the hours outside of team practices.

As parents, your investment of time, encouragement, accountability, and resources can make all the difference. The players provide the work ethic, but parents help create the environment for success.

D1 and Pro athletes aren’t built during games and tournaments.. they’re built in the countless hours of preparation before them. 🏀💪🏽
