Congratulations to Grahm for May “Student of the month”! Grahm has dedicated himself to earning his black belt and just promoted to his red stripe. He is always pushing himself to learn more advanced techniques than his current curriculum. He always focuses on technique and fundamentals and it shows every promotion. He has competed in multiple tournaments and became more confident in himself. He is always smiling and pushing himself to be the best he can be. He is the perfect example of a future black belt and a leader.

Congratulations to Jesus for April “Student of the month”! Jesus has not only committed and dedicated the last couple of years to earning his blackbelt, he has overcome adversity. He had transitioned to the teen/adult class and trained with bigger and stronger students. He has been humbled multiple times but never backed down. He is resilient, respectful and always eager to be better. He competed in his first tournament and very close to earning his blackbelt. We are very proud of his mental and physical progress! Great job Jesus!

What an honor to have Master Joe from Dallas, Texas teach these competitors modern tae kwon do. Power points, lecture, drills, and also having fun at the same time. Our goal was for Master Joe to teach these fierce competitors how to win championships at the local, state, regional, national ,and international level. Three hours of nonstop training and these competitors wanted to keep going. We are hoping to have Master Joe return to continue his teachings in the competition world. Thank you to all of the students, parents, family members, and friends for supporting this RUMBLE!

Congratulations to Elijah for March “Student of the Month”! He moved from Oregon and had previously trained at another taekwondo school. Great job to his previous instructor because Elijah was a gift! Not only is he physically talented but respectful and mentally tough! He gives 💯 every class and it shows at the tournaments he has competed in. He has promoted recently to brown belt/black stripe! He is two promotions away from blackbelt. He has made soo much progress since he moved back to Louisiana and continues to get better every class. We are very proud of you and can’t wait to see you in a black uniform one day!

Competition is a way to test your skills. All the sacrifice, blood, sweat, tears training and giving 100% effort to win the gold medal. Students also learn about winning and losing. Congratulations to those who won gold, but remember, losing is one of the best learning lessons in life. Use this experience to put fuel in your tank when you train! Hold yourself accountable, make no excuses and train harder! We’re so proud of all these warriors and their mental mindset to be the best! Thank you to all the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters and friends that supported all of our students. We can’t do it without you. Thank you to all the coaches who volunteered and traveled to help these students compete. What a great weekend.!

Congratulations to Haylie for earning her 1st Degree Blackbelt and congratulations to the other blackbelts for earning another white stripe! Haylie showed exactly what it takes to achieve her goal. During her board breaks, she felt physical and mental pain and let fear take over. After encouragement and motivation from her taekwondo family, she told herself “I Can!” She finished all her board breaks with a winning spirit and used that adrenaline rush to spar multiple rounds including two blackbelts at one time.

Andrew Arabie, who had a hernia surgery scheduled for the following Monday after promotion, made a decision to sacrifice the pain in order to earn his first white stripe. These are two of many examples that demonstrated “Mind Over Matter” We are very proud of these students who continue to grow
