How do you retain riders in group fitness?
Give them a reason to come back!
Riders are more likely to return when they can see their progress and understand what they're working toward. That's why consistent coaching and purposeful programming matter. Together, they create an experience that encourages riders to keep showing up.
Swipe through for one way to think about rider retention.
How does your studio help first-time riders become regulars?

The bikes in your studio do more than fill the room. They help shape every rider's experience. From the moment someone clips in, the equipment they're riding influences how comfortable, confident, and connected they feel throughout class.
That's why the Chrono® was designed for studios that want to deliver a premium indoor cycling experience. With thoughtful design, day-after-day durability, and a smooth ride, it helps create an experience riders look forward to coming back to.
Because when your equipment supports your instructors and your riders, every class starts on the right foot.

We’re heading to New Orleans for the 2026 General Assembly of the YMCAs.
If you’ll be there September 17–19, come find us at Booth 3039. We’d love to catch up, talk cycling, and show you what Spinning® has been working on.
See you in NOLA!
Great classes are built on more than music and workouts. They're built on people who encourage each other to keep showing up.
We love this reminder from that the people around us can shape what's possible, both on and off the bike.

The hardest part of growing a cycling program isn't convincing someone to become a regular rider. It's getting them through the studio door for the very first class.
A welcoming first experience can make all the difference. Clear expectations, thoughtful bike setup, approachable coaching, and helping new riders feel successful from the moment they clip in all contribute to whether they'll come back.
Every regular rider was once a beginner.
