Think the only place to get your CEUs is inside a yoga studio?
Think again.
This August, we’re taking hands-on assist education somewhere a little more alive.
Baja.
Ocean air.
Morning practice under the sun.
Rest.
Adventure.
Connection.
And 40 CEUs woven into a retreat experience to nourish you as a teacher too.
This is for the teachers who want both.
The education and the exhale.
The refinement of skill and the reminder of why you fell in love with yoga in the first place.
We’ll be exploring hands on assists, assist-based sequencing, consent, nervous system awareness, and the art of supporting bodies with clarity and care while also giving ourselves space to soften, play, eat good food, and exist somewhere beautiful.
Count on the Uncertain to Unshakeable experience.
Just with paradise as the backdrop.
Led by , meeee, , and Thai Bodyworker .

Sheeeeesh. LOOK at those lines.
One of my favorite things about teaching is watching a posture suddenly organize from the inside out.
I was cueing the legs in Triangle almost like chopsticks closing in on a giant sushi roll.
Not gripping.
Not relying on friction.
Not dumping into the joints and hoping for the best.
Subtle inward magnetism.
Drawing energy up from the earth.
Body engagement instead of collapse.
✨Add in a lil assist magic to help him understand where he is in space✨
& BOOM
Energy shot through every limb.
Sacred geometry in real time.
That’s the kind of work we’re doing inside From Uncertain to Unshakeable in Charlotte this June.
Not forcing people deeper.
Not performing flexibility.
Not collecting flashy “advanced” shapes.
We’re learning how to actually read bodies.
How to organize energy.
How to create assists that help students understand where they are in space.
How to regulate our own nervous systems first.
How to offer pressure that supports instead of overwhelms.
How to stop hovering awkwardly beside students wondering what to do with our hands.
This training is for teachers who want real craft.
Embodiment over choreography.
Confidence that comes from repetition, observation, and clear frameworks.
Because true alignment isn’t about sticking a pose.
It’s about coherence.
With gravity.
With energy.
With self.

Yoga student to yoga teacher pipeline:
1. Life is not okay.
A breakup, a death in the family, loss of a job, serious injury, illness…
Something cracks you open and pushes you to look for meaning in it all.
You find yoga.
2. Life is okay…
Until you take the training and realize how many things need to change on the other side of it.
I was option 1.
And I really went for it.
Within the span of 3 months, I dropped a fiancé, my 9 to 5, and a good portion of my friend group.
Yoga was the only constant, so 3 months later I was signed up for a 200hr in Bali with .
To say I handled the breakup, the career change, and the social loss would be a serious overstatement.
I did not handle it well.
But since that time, and since the teachings have built up in my bloodstream, I do handle similar things well now.
Yoga is life school.
Everyone should go.
To practice yoga is to find light in the darkness.
To teach is to point the way to the light.
