✨ Where every child grows with confidence, in two languages. ✨
Every activity here has a purpose. Our program is grounded in child developmental psychology (Piaget, Vygotsky, Bowlby): children learn best when they feel safe, understood, and challenged at their own pace.
🧠 Social-emotional growth: naming feelings, expressing needs, building secure relationships
✋ Fine motor skills: molding, cutting, pasting, and handling small objects, the foundation for writing
🤸 Gross motor skills: hopscotch, movement games, and dance for balance, coordination, and body confidence
🔢🔤 Early learning: counting, measuring, letter sounds, all through play
🇫🇷 Authentic French immersion with a native-speaking teacher

👻🎨 A day full of discoveries at French-American Académie!🍎✨

Today, our little ones worked hard and let their creativity shine! 💛

✏️ Pre-writing and math
We traced the number 2 counted and colored 2 apples 🍎 and 2 pumpkins 🎃, and finished drawing our triangles🔺.

🔤 The alphabet in French
We discovered the letter A, as in avion (
airplane) ✈️! The children traced uppercase A and lowercase a, then found all the A's hidden in the apples.

👻 Art studio: our sparkly ghosts
Paint, glitter, stars, tiny pumpkins and spiders… Each child created their own magical ghost under a Halloween night sky! 🌌✨

🌟 Skills we practiced today:
✅ Fine motor skills and pencil grip
✅ Number and letter recognition
✅ Shapes
✅ Bilingual French-English vocabulary
✅ Creativity and artistic expression
✅ Focus and independence

🍂 What you see: pumpkins, bats, and crayons.
What's really happening: a brain being built. 🧠✨

Look at their faces: focused, calm, absorbed. 💛
Children truly learn only when they feel safe. That is the heart of our approach, rooted in developmental psychology (Bowlby, Piaget, Vygotsky): connection first, then learning.

This week at French-American Académie, our little ones:
✂️ Cut along the lines → hand-eye coordination and pre-writing skills
🔢 Counted to 9 on a ten frame → early math foundations
🎃 Painted their own pumpkins → focus and the pride of "I made it myself!"
🧩 Worked on puzzles side by side → patience, problem-solving, friendship
🦇 Decorated sparkly bats → creativity and fine motor skills
🥕 Tasted roasted seasonal vegetables, organic and sugar-free → the joy of healthy eating

And all of it… in French. 🇫🇷🇺🇸
