🤯 Did you know that aerobic exercise can increase the size of your hippocampus, the part of your brain responsible for memory and learning?
A study published in the Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience found that older adults who engaged in aerobic exercise for a year showed an increase in hippocampal volume, while those who did stretching and toning exercises experienced a decrease. This suggests that regular aerobic activity can help reverse age-related brain shrinkage and improve cognitive function.
