SUPPRESSOR UPDATE
We’ve been receiving a lot of questions about everything currently happening with suppressors. It’s an exciting time, but we’re also very much in uncharted territory.
This morning, we contacted the Kansas City ATF Field Office directly. At this time, they told us they have not yet received guidance from Washington, D.C. regarding how these changes should be handled.
Our priority is protecting both our customers and Centerfire, so for now, we will continue submitting Form 4s and following the current transfer process.
As soon as we receive clear, official confirmation that a suppressor can lawfully be transferred using a 4473 and NICS check without the Form 4 process, we’ll be ready to sprint to the finish line.
We know everyone is excited. So are we. We’ll continue communicating with ATF and will share updates as soon as we have confirmed information.
Stay tuned.

It’s hot outside… but the barrels are hotter. 🔥💥
Skip sweating in the sun and come make some noise in the A/C. 😎❄️
Cool lanes. Hot barrels. Good times.

We’d like to take a moment and recognize one of our staff, Bernie, who just finished his last shift as a Firefighter here in Johnson County after 31 years of service! At Centerfire, Bernie is one of our Concealed Carry Course instructors. He also teaches private lessons, and you’ll find him behind the gun counter as well. He’s a great addition to our team and we’d like to congratulate him for his time in the fire service.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Centerfire!
Today we celebrate the dads, grandpas, and father figures who taught us more than just how to shoot. They taught us responsibility, patience, respect, and the importance of passing down traditions.
Whether you’re spending the day at the range, around the grill, or making memories with family, we hope it’s a great one.
Thank you to all the fathers who lead by example and help shape the next generation.
Happy Father’s Day! 🇺🇸🎯
