There is a practice in Yoga called Pratipaksha Bhavana—the practice of consciously turning our attention toward the good. It’s a powerful practice because it helps clear the mind of negativity—not by pretending difficulties don’t exist or sweeping them under the rug, but by refusing to let them steal the headlines.
Negativity is intoxicating. The more we dwell on it, the more our minds become conditioned to find it everywhere—creating our own internal algorithm. Pratipaksha Bhavana reminds us that even in the most difficult times, goodness still exists. It invites us to pause the negative narrative long enough to notice the blessings that surround us. From that place comes gratitude—and gratitude shifts the algorithm again.

Meet our resident karma yogi (for the last few years!) and outstanding weekly leader of the Friday Sound Journey at 6pm. She has taken care of all of us behind the scenes—making sure our the students, teachers, studio (and plants!) are loved, supported and nourished. We are ever grateful for all she has done for the studio and community!! And in Yoga as in life, all good things come to an end. In the coming weeks, Satoko will need to step back and we are looking for a work-trade team to help out in exchange for membership. Just a couple hours help around the studio weekly in exchange for membership and discounts on workshops and retreats. If you or someone you know is interested in studio membership exchange, please DM for more info.

Spring is a natural time to reset.
As the seasons shift, Ayurveda invites us to gently cleanse the digestive system, release accumulated heaviness, and restore balance to body and mind.
If you’ve been feeling sluggish, foggy, or a little out of sync, this is your body’s way of asking for a reset.
Join us for Spring Ayurveda Cleanse Rituals, a 2.5 hour Introduction to Ayurvedic Wisdom for seasonal digestive cleansing. We will gather in community this Saturday from 10:30-1:00pm to learn simple, nourishing practices that support digestion, increase energy, and bring clarity from the inside out.
This isn’t about restriction—it’s about nourishment, rhythm, and reconnecting to your body in a deeper way.
You’ll leave with:
• Simple daily practices to support digestion
• Cleanse-friendly recipes and guidance
• Tools to carry this seasonal reset into your everyday life
Come as you are—this is a gentle, supportive space for all levels.
