When I design a Boot Camp class it's part fun, part challenge, and mostly applicable to real life. Like these ladies this morning. Do movements and exercises that apply to real life. Leave the cute stuff for the social media influencers😉

As you may have seen on my social media, serious rebuilding on our home has finally begun.

To be honest, the only thing keeping me sane throughout all this fire, insurance, permits, contractors, etc, is my own training.

I think it’s in my DNA to buckle down, eat better, and keep up with my training when the going gets tough. I'm fortunate in that when I'm stressed in life, I seek healthy outlets. I wish more people could see how beneficial clean eating and training are. I feel that you’ve got to put your health first to be strong for whatever challenges come at you.

If you aren't putting your health first, I encourage you to take this seriously and do so.

Be strong for you.

Be strong for your family.

Commit today.

Join us at Boot Camp. Train for life. Workout to improve your balance, and to aquire real world strength that transfers into your life.

And please share this with someone you know who could use a kind “push” to take better care of themselves. It’s not a big time commitment; it's more about consistency.

There are many things that I miss because of the fire. Many times I wish that I could grab one of the many books that I had collected over my lifetime. - Just sharing out loud. -

When I was a young trainer, I had no real understanding of what training at 60 actually feels like.
* I now know firsthand the toll time takes on the body.
* Recovery isn’t as quick as it used to be.
* Working around injuries becomes part of the process.
* Workout plans don’t always go the way we intend.

But having said that, showing up and staying consistent still pays off. The effort still counts, and so does the discipline.

Did any of these resonate with you?

Heads up — it’s warming up this week 🔥 Make sure you’re hydrating well before training, not just during. Aim for water throughout the day, not just right before we start.

For the longest time, I thought progress only counted if I was pushing harder, doing more, and staying disciplined every single day.

But one of the biggest things recovery has taught me is this: your body doesn’t only need movement — it also needs space.

The quiet walks.

The slower days.

The moments where nothing looks “productive.”

That is part of the work, too.

Because recovery isn’t laziness.

Rest is often the reason you’re able to come back stronger.

If you’re in a season where your body is asking for softness, this is your reminder that slowing down can still be progress.

Testimonials like this mean more to me than any before-and-after photo. True fitness isn’t just about appearance—it’s about improving quality of life, restoring function, and helping people do the things they love without pain. Thank you for sharing your journey, Tracey.
