After watching Payton Starwalt put on a show at Section 7 in Mesa, Arizona last weekend, it’s a fair question to ask whether she’s the best shooter in the country regardless of class.

The West Albany HS (OR) + Oregon Top Prospects standout lit up one of the premier live periods of the summer, displaying effortless range well beyond the college three-point line while knocking down shots in every imaginable way.

Over her final three games at Section 7, Starwalt averaged 33.3 points while shooting 58% from three (14-of-24), and 91% from the free-throw line (29-of-32) against high-level competition in the Delano Family bracket.
