Hi! What are the new locations and dates? I haven’t joined in 3 years.
Can I come without a stroller?
A friend of mine is a pharmacist at a local hospital and asked me to send this to all my mom friend groups to spread the word. If you and your kids can make pictures and encouraging notes and mail them to the address below it would so be appreciated! 💕💕💕 Thanks mommas!! 💕💕💕

Class is canceled today due to the weather. Here is an at home workout for you! Remember to warmup for 5 minutes and then cool down and stretch after!
Hi Ladies! I miss my workouts. But I have been so busy with my many hats. I know It's no excuse and I will make time to come again.
I have been playing around with a new business this past year and dabbling with medicinal mushroom supplements. I bought them and became a distributor a year ago because my husband had health problems and I was desperate for a solution. And They actually worked. This company is newer and in Arizona, I only know of one other distributor. The vice president is excited to grow the business out here and things are starting to move fast. If you are interested in medicinal mushrooms, and or in a little side hustle then you don't want to miss this live webinar. I would love your support also. ( It takes a village)
The meeting will be held on February 6th at 8:30 pm. You don't have to dress up or leave the comfort of your home. Hand those babies off to your husbands and pour your self a glass of wine or two and settle in for @ an hour of informative information. The link is here. If you are interested then message me your name and email in the comments or via txt my phone 480-773-8838. and I'll sign you up to receive a reminder email. Thank you. I really hope you can make the webinar.

- Get outside! Soaking in the sun and breathing fresh air can make you more clear minded and stabilize your headspace.

- Try meditation - Journal your feelings, emotions, concerns - let it all out

- Get moving! Stretch, go on a walk, do a workout, or anything else to let out anxious energy

Since 1990, the U.S. government has designated the month of May as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, celebrating the achievements and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) in the United States. The month of May was chosen to mark the arrival of the first Japanese immigrant to the United States on May 7, 1843, as well as the anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad on May 10, 1869.

Much of United States history textbooks ignore the contributions AAPI brought to the country, and the struggles they were forced to endure. To learn more and educate your children, consider:

- Read A Place Where Sunflowers Grow by Amy Lee-Tai ~ A book for children to educate them about what living in a Japanese internment camp during WWII was like.
- Read The Making of Asian America by Erika Lee ~ A book recording the sweeping history of Asian Americans and their pivotal role in American life.
- Watch Asian Americans ~ A film series told through intimate and personal lives; the series casts a new lens on U.S. history and the ongoing role that Asian Americans have played in shaping the nation’s story.
- Teach kids about AAPI culture through arts & crafts, cooking Asian dishes, trying Asian horticulture or going to a local history museum,
- Follow organizations such as @stopaapihate and @aapiwomenlead to continue educating yourself in the future through their posts, articles, and campaigns

May is National Foster Care Month. Foster parents not only transform, but truly save the lives of children who are in need of love and a home. We asked Becca Graham, FIT4MOM franchise owner, to share her experience as a foster parent:

What has been the most rewarding part of being a foster parent?

Our biological kids' childhood has been shaken up and turned inside out by us bringing in two kiddos who are not biologically related to them. Although it's been challenging, the sharpening of their character is beautiful and well worth the risk. They have the daily opportunity to choose empathy and compassion, and learn about trauma in a really unique way. I see the benefits of this in their interactions and relationships with people outside of our home.

What’s one of the biggest misconceptions about being a foster parent?

We are not superhuman or superheroes. We are very average people who decided it's worth choosing discomfort for the sake of someone else finding safety. You can do it too.

What made you decide to become a foster parent?

As a sociology major in college, I was assigned the book ""Turning Stones"" by Marc Parent in one of my classes. That book shook my core and opened my eyes to some of the complexities of the foster care system. We were open to adopting one day, but the more we learned about private adoption, the more we felt unsettled about the whole thing. It didn't make sense to us, personally, that there are adults on waiting lists hoping for a baby through private agencies when there are kids on waiting lists in foster care hoping for a home. So we signed up for foster care training with the goal of providing a safe place, whether temporarily or permanently, for kids waiting.

What advice would you give for someone considering it?

There is a big shortage of safe, healthy foster families compared to the number of kids in foster care. Definitely consider signing up AND it's important to do the heart work beforehand, during, and after. You are not anyone's savior. We are not wired as people to be separated from our families and any kiddo who comes to your home will have trauma. Learn from adult adoptees, talk to other foster families, and keep a pulse on your motivation. If you realize being a foster parent is not for you, you can sign up to be a CASA volunteer to advocate for the kids in the system, donate money to an organization providing services for the biological parents, or bring meals and support to foster families (especially when they receive a new placement).

Here are some accounts, especially for transracial adoption I follow, if you are interested in learning more about fostering:
