I'm in my 8th year of teaching Zumba GoldĀ® for Berks Encore locations.
I simply cannot express how important this organization is for the senior community. We are so blessed to have not one, but 6 locations throughout Berks County. Many counties do not have this level of service for the senior community.
The expo offers an incredible amount of knowledge for those transitioning after retirement, nursing care, support, services, medical information, you name there is a vendor there that can help.
If you can go, do it. If you can't please share!
I will be attending this event. If anyone wants to donate any of the below items to homebound older adults I will be happy to deliver them.

Help us bring holiday cheer to homebound older adults in Berks County through our beSanta initiative! Weāre teaming up with BARTA for a Stuff-A-Bus donation drive at our Senior Expo on September 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Consider purchasing an item from our wish list and donating it when you arrive at the Expo! Look for the BARTA minibus at the front of the stadium to drop off your donations.
Items needed include:
ā¢ Adult coloring books & colored pencils/thin markers
ā¢ Bottle/jar openers
ā¢ Hand lotion
ā¢ Heating pads (any size)
ā¢ Large-print word search & activity books
ā¢ Mini notepads & pens
