💜 Removing Barriers So Kids Can Play

The cost to participate in sports at Southeast Rec Club is $75 per child, per sport. For some families, that cost can be a barrier.

Through limited SRS scholarships, shared resources like the Every Kid Sports Pass, and community donations, we work to make youth sports accessible to as many families as possible.

As our programs continue to grow, we also have ongoing needs for replacing outdated equipment and adding new gear to safely support more kids across multiple sports.

🧒 What We’re Really Teaching at SRS

At Southeast Rec Club, sports are about more than wins and losses.

We focus on helping kids build confidence, learn teamwork, and grow in a positive, family-focused environment.

We also know that cost can be a concern for families. That’s why, in addition to limited SRS scholarships, we share information each season about the Every Kid Sports Pass, an outside program that helps eligible families cover youth sports registration fees.

🧑‍🏫 Most of Our Coaches Start as Parents — And That’s a Good Thing

Many of our volunteer coaches at Southeast Rec Club are parents who step up because they care about kids — not because they’ve coached before.

Our goal is to better support and train our volunteer coaches so they feel confident, prepared, and supported throughout the season.
