Blue Ridge Marathon

HELP I’M NOT READY TO LET GO OF THIS WEEKEND!!!

Everything was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ve worked this race a couple of times, so I already knew how special it is from the people who put it on and the love and effort they pour into it. But being on the other side and seeing how much love people bring and spread across the entire course was incredible.

The volunteers, the runners, the community showing up with everything they have, the views… all of it. I’m leaving this weekend with a newfound love for my home. I’m so grateful for everything this region represents, and even more grateful I got to train here. 😅

SO MUCH RESPECT for everyone who came out and ran this course. 🫶 YOU ARE SO COOL!!

It might sound corny, but the Blue Ridge Marathon taught me a lot. It strengthened my relationship with myself and also changed how I connect with the world around me and how I choose to take it in. And that’s just MY experience. I’ve been reading so many BRM stories, and knowing every runner has their own kind of magic makes it even more special.

THANK YOU to EVERYONE who made this weekend what it was. ✨🫶

Every year thousands of runners trek to downtown Roanoke to take part in the Blue Ridge Marathon, known as America's Toughest Road Race. An elite group of 30 runners took part in The Full GOAT, challenging themselves to participate in every race distance, including a double marathon.
