Congratulations to our newest divers Hollie, James snd Nick!
Today was a beautiful day for diving and a great dive to complete their open water certification. These three were very persistent and refused to quit, even when it was a bit challenging in the beginning. Throughout the course, they were diligent, receptive to suggestions and feedback and became very solid in their skills.
We're looking forward to diving with you again!

In light of the current air quality crisis of Michigan, lets talk about the air that is in your tanks.... how is it treated?
The Purest Breath: Our Commitment at Neptune’s Aquatic Center
When you descend into the deep blue, your world shrinks to two things: the rhythm of your kick and the sound of your breathing.
Under pressure, far from the surface, that breath is everything. At Neptune’s Aquatic Center, we believe that what you put into your lungs shouldn't just meet industry standards—it should set them. The quality and safety of your breathing air is paramount.
That is why we don't just compress the air you breathe; we meticulously refine it.
Before a single molecule of oxygen enters your tank, it is scrubbed, dried, and purified through an uncompromising five-stage filtration process. Here is the exact journey your air takes from the atmosphere to your regulator:
The Five-Stage Purification
1.The Particle Intake Pre-Filter - Eliminating the Elements. The air begins its journey passing through a high-efficiency mechanical pre-filter. This stage traps larger environmental particles, dust, and pollen, ensuring only clean ambient air enters the compression chambers.
2. Mechanical Separation & Coalescing - Removing Bulk Moisture & Oil. As the air is compressed, it passes through intercoolers and a mechanical separator. By dropping the air temperature and forcing it through a cyclonic separator, we strip out the vast majority of condensed water droplets and residual compressor oil v***r.
3. Molecular Sieve Desiccant - Deep Drying. Remaining moisture is the enemy of your cylinders, potentially causing internal corrosion. In this stage, a highly porous molecular sieve acts like a sponge on a microscopic level, stripping out trace water v***r until the air is radically dry.
4. Activated Carbon Scrubbing - Eliminating Odors & Taste. Nobody wants to taste their air. The air streams through premium activated carbon, which chemically adsorbs hydrocarbons, organic compounds, and any microscopic trace odors, leaving the air completely tasteless and pristine.
5. The Catalyst Barrier - Carbon Monoxide Elimination. The ultimate safety net. The final stage uses a specialized catalyst element that converts lethal Carbon Monoxide (CO) into harmless Carbon Dioxide. This guarantees that the final product is ultra-pure, breathable Grade E oxygen mix.
Breathe Easy. We test our air continuously because we dive on the very same gas we fill for you. When you gear up with Neptune's Aquatic Center, you can let go of the gear anxiety, focus on your buoyancy, and truly explore the deep.

Congratulations to our newest divers, Reese and Emma!
They recently did a few discovery dives in Thailand. While Baptist Lake has some fun areas to explore, I'm sure it didn't come close to their dives in Thailand. Regardless, these two were really fun to work with and get to know. Great job Reese and Emma! Looking forward to diving with you again!
