After a good assessment, the golf course and driving range will remain closed for the entire day for Thursday, Oct. 29. The property took 2.3 inches yesterday, which brings the October total total to 17 inches! The turf is just too saturated for golfers to even be able to walk from the cart path to their golf shots, putting greens, etc. If we can go rain-free throughout the day today, we should be able to open Friday, October 30 to cart path only rules. Sorry, but this to shall pass and sunshine will come back.

Update- golf course will be closed for the morning of Thursday, Oct. 29. Hopefully the rains stop sometime tonight and we can go rain free throughout the morning. In that case, we'll shoot for a potential afternoon opening but can't guarantee it until we see the course tomorrow morning.

For Wednesday, Oct. 28th, we can say we tried, however, rain squall after rain squall has just dumped enough water on the fairways that many areas have became unplayable. The golf course and range will remain closed for the rest of the day and we will give it another go on Thursday, Oct. 29th. Without question, the golf course will be cart path only on Thursday and we will assess the driving range in the morning. All outdoor activities have certainly taken a hit lately in sunny Florida!

The Lady Sharks golf team got win number 12 on the season tonight against Treasure Coast High! The team posted their lowest team score of the season, led by a medalist round of 38 posted by Adyson Millican. We also had a personal best round posted by freshman Annie Bragman. The girls hard work is paying off! They are ready to show it off next week at districts! Go Sharks!
