Stewarding your body >>> chasing skinny, shredded, or āperfect.ā
Are there physical benefits to fitness? Absolutely. Getting stronger, looking better, feeling more confidentāthose things are great.
But when you start seeing movement as an opportunity to worship and steward the body God gave you, the way you view fitness changes.
The win becomes being strong enough to serve others.
Having the energy to play with your kids.
Moving without pain.
Showing up well for the people God has placed in your life.
Taking care of your health so youāre ready for whatever He calls you to.
Fitness doesnāt have to be punishment for what you ate or a constant chase to make your body smaller.
It can be gratitude.
It can be stewardship.
It can be worship. š
Thatās where the JOY in fitness is. Thatās where we keep our eyes on Jesus.
How can we pray for you in your health + fitness journey right now? Drop it in the commentsāweād love to pray with you. š¤

We hear it all the timeā¦
āIām just too BUSY to work out.ā
BUSY = Being Under Satanās Yoke.
Because sometimes ābusyā isnāt actually about having no time. Itās about what weāve decided gets our time.
Youāre not too busy. Your health just hasnāt become a priority yet.
At 5AM, before the rest of the house wakes up ā thereās a class.
After work, when you pack your gym clothes and come straight here ā thereās a class.
Is it always convenient? Nope.
Does it require sacrifice? Absolutely.
But hereās the reality: if you continually refuse to make time for your health now, there may come a day when your health forces you to make time for it.
And suddenly slowing down isnāt a choice.
We train because we want to keep playing with our kids. Keep traveling. Keep working. Keep serving. Keep getting off the floor without help. Keep doing the things God has called us to do with strength and energy for as long as He allows us.
So maybe itās time to stop saying, āIām too busy.ā
Say what it really is:
āItās not a priority.ā
And if saying that out loud doesnāt sit right with you⦠maybe itās time to change it. šŖ
Your schedule reflects your priorities.
Make your health one of them.

BCS was about so much more than competition.
We went into this weekend with a goal bigger than placements, scores, or podiums: we wanted people to see Jesus in the way we competed.
And over and over again, we got to watch that happen.
We watched athletes pray over their judges after taking the floor.
We watched teammates circle up on the start mat and pray together in those final seconds when the nerves were at their highest.
We watched REV athletes finish their own workouts completely exhausted and immediately turn around to scream and cheer for someone else.
We watched people celebrate huge wins, but we also watched teammates wrap their arms around each other after workouts that didnāt go according to plan and remind each other that a score doesnāt define the weekend.
We sat together at the house for devotionals, opened Godās Word, shared what was on our hearts, worshiped together, and talked about what it actually means to represent Jesus outside the walls of REV.
And maybe one of the coolest parts was hearing afterward how deeply the weekend impacted some of our athletes ā not because of how they performed, but because of the people they were surrounded by and what God was doing through those relationships.
Thatās the stuff weāll remember.
CrossFit may have been what brought this group together, but Jesus has made it something so much deeper.
We competed hard. We laughed A LOT. We prayed. We worshiped. We encouraged each other. We celebrated each other. And we got another reminder of how powerful it is to surround yourself with people who want to see you win in the gym AND grow closer to the Lord.
Medals are awesome. PRs are awesome. Standing on a competition floor beside your friends is really awesome.
But watching people become more like Jesus together?
Nothing tops that.
We came home incredibly proud of our athletes, incredibly grateful for this community, and even more confident in the mission God has given REV.

Thank You, Lord, for letting us do this together.

REV crew is on our way to BCS Classic | Aug 21ā22 with the REV bus fully locked and loaded!! šš»
Few members meeting us down there we had to add in. š Houston Sutton Joseph Watson braylee
11 peeps ready to give it there all on the big stage!!
There are a lot of things we love about CrossFit ā getting stronger, pushing ourselves, chasing PRs, and doing hard things together.
But at REV, we know where our strength ultimately comes from. š
Before the clock starts, before the music gets loud, and before we take on whatever challenge is in front of us, we pray.
We thank God for bodies that are able to move. We pray for strength and safety. We pray for the people beside us. And most importantly, we remember that everything we do is an opportunity to glorify Him.
REV was built to be more than a place to work out. We want this to be a community that leads with faith, encourages one another, holds each other accountable, and keeps Christ at the center.
The workouts may bring you through the doors, but we hope what you find here goes far beyond fitness. š¤
Growing Godās Kingdom one WOD at a time. š
Some of the best stories at REV start with a simple invitation.
Erica joined us back in March after being invited by her dad, Ernieāone of our oldest and most inspiring members. She gave CrossFit a chance⦠and never looked back.
Since then, sheās not only seen incredible physical changes, but sheās also gained something even more valuable: a better quality of life.
Ericaās family loves spending time on the water, especially hydrofoiling. Itās something she hadnāt been able to do since 2018. But this summer, after months of showing up, working hard, and trusting the process, she accomplished something hugeā¦
She got back up and rode for the first time in years. š
Thatās why we do what we do.
Fitness isnāt just about losing weight or hitting PRs. Itās about getting back to the things you love and living life to the fullest.
Erica, weāre so proud of your hard work. Your positive attitude, coachability, and willingness to be pushed make you such a joy to coach. Thank you for being part of the REV familyāweāre so grateful youāre here. š¤
The difference isnāt just the workout. Itās the coaching.
Every movement has a progression. Every athlete has a starting point. And every win starts with someone taking the time to teach.
Coach Shawn didnāt just tell Presley to ākick up and try harder.ā He broke the movement down, explained the mechanics, coached the details, and gave her the confidence to put it all together.
The result? Her first handstand push-up. š
Thatās what we do at REV.
Whether youāre learning your first air squat or chasing muscle-ups and handstand walks, youāll be coached every step of the way. We meet you where you are, teach you the *why* behind the movement, and help you progress safely and efficiently.
We donāt believe in standing around counting reps.
We believe in coaching.
And weāll say it confidentlyāwe believe we have the best coaching in Parker County. Not because we think weāre perfect, but because weāre committed to knowing our athletes, constantly improving our craft, and helping every person who walks through our doors become better than they were yesterday.
Because your progress deserves more than a workout.
It deserves great coaching. šŖ

Congratulations to Our New REV Nutrition Graduates! š
Weāre excited to celebrate three athletes who have reached major milestones in their nutrition journeys!
š Suzanne has officially graduated from our Foundations Program and is moving into our Advanced Track.
š Joe has also graduated from Foundations and is continuing his journey in the Advanced Track.
š Kayla has officially graduated from our Advanced Nutrition Program! Sheāll now spend the next few months applying everything sheās learned on her own while continuing to meet with our coaches during quarterly check-ins to ensure sheās staying on track and making progress.
We are incredibly proud of each of these athletes. Their commitment to working with Coach Jessi and staying consistent with their nutrition has translated into huge improvementsānot just on the scale, but in their performance, energy, confidence, and progress in the gym.
One thing we love about our new nutrition program is that graduation is earned, not guaranteed.
Just because you enroll doesnāt mean youāll graduate. It takes consistency, coachability, and hard work. In fact, many athletes repeat our Foundations Program to make sure healthy habits truly stick before moving on. Our goal isnāt quick fixesāitās lasting results.
Because at REV, results matter. šŖ
Help us congratulate Suzanne, Joe, and Kayla on all of their hard work! š
Growth doesnt happen in comfortable moments.
Every workout has moments where you want to quit. Every new skill comes with failed attempts. Every PR is earned through countless reps that no one sees.
Life is no different.
Some of us walk through loss. Others face health battles. Some carry the weight of anxiety or depression. We all have giants weāre fighting that no one else can fully see.
The question isnāt whether weāll face hardshipāitās what will define us through it.
Will we let our circumstances define us? Will we let anxiety, depression, fear, or pain become our identity? Or will we allow Godās will to define our lives?
At REV, weāre not just training stronger athletes. Weāre becoming stronger peopleālearning perseverance, resilience, discipline, and faith through every challenge we face.
Keep showing up.
Keep trusting the process.
Keep trusting God.
What feels like Heās breaking you today may be exactly how Heās building you for tomorrow. ā¤ļøšŖ
