We’re excited to present a community-centered cultural experience that brings together nationally recognized dancers, musicians, educators, historians, and local artists to honor the stories, traditions, and rhythms that continue to shape Afro-Latin culture today.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll experience:

🎶 Live music and social dancing featuring Wichita’s premier salsa band, Tumbao
🌎 Cultural and educational panels presented by Wichita State University exploring the history and evolution of Afro-Latin dance
✨ Professional performances and showcases featuring local, regional, and national talent
🤝 Opportunities to connect, learn, celebrate, and dance together
Whether you’re an experienced dancer, a first-time participant, or simply curious about Afro-Latin culture, this festival is designed to be welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for everyone. At a time when connection matters more than ever, we’re creating a space where culture is celebrated, stories are shared, and community is built, one step at a time.
