Have you ever passed by the historic Wesley Uniting Church Tennis Club and wondered how to get on and play?
So often we mention to people it is one of our coaching venues and we hear the same reply: “Oh yeah, I know that place; I’ve driven past it and thought I may become a member.”
You don’t have to become a member to play, so book a court via the club website or go to our Canberra Tennis Coaching website to book a private session or kids’ group lessons for term two.

KIDS TENNIS LESSONS - TERM TWO
Kids aged eleven years or younger? wanting to learn tennis in term two? Then come on down for our classes Wesley Uniting Church Tennis Club in Forrest.
Session Times are:
Tuesday
4.00pm - Ages 5-7
4.30pm - Ages 8-11
Saturday
9.30am - Ages 8-11
10.30am - Ages 5-7
Players will learn foundational technique, while being introduced to structured game play. Leading to a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity and resilience

WE’RE EVOLVING 🎾🎾
Today we say hello our new name, Canberra Tennis Coaching.
It’s not a big change, but it better reflects our growth over the past 3 years and our intentions for the future.
We teach tennis at the Jerrabomberra Tennis Club and the Wesley Uniting Church Tennis Club in Forrest. In 2026 we will begin expanding our services with our first 8-11 years classes on Saturdays at Wesley.
Our old email, contact numbers and URL will still work for quite some time so please feel free to use them as long as need be.

LESSON CANCELLATIONS ☔️
We’ve made the decision to cancel all tennis lessons scheduled for this afternoon. The on again off again showers and no sun has meant conditions are too difficult get on court.
The forecast for tomorrow looks a little more promising. Let’s see you back on court then

You’ve likely guessed. While we are definitely enjoying some welcome rain, it means our day of tennis has been washed out.
All lessons at both Jerrabomberra Tennis Club and Wesley Uniting Church Tennis Club are cancelled today. We will try again tomorrow

WEEKEND TOURNAMENT
It was a weekend at Ulladulla for coaches Scott and Craig.
After wining our first doubles event on the Saturday, things didn’t exaclty go according to plan. We finished runner up on Sunday after having a two match points and being beaten by some incredible under pressure tennis form our opponents.
Super fun tennis and back to the practice court to see if we can go one better next year 💪🏼
