One story. Two journeys.
What happens when a story of unimaginable loss becomes a journey into love, connection and a deeper understanding of life?
Jai's Story begins with Kieran O'Callaghan's experience as a father following the sudden death of his eight-year-old son, Jairam.
But Jai's story doesn't end there.
In Part One, Kieran weaves his family's experience together with stories from his life, his years of yoga and meditation, and the insights that shaped the way he faced one of life's most profound losses.
Then comes Part Two: The Indian Pilgrimage.
Before Jai passed away, he had been incredibly excited about travelling to India. After his farewell and celebration of life in Australia, Kieran and Jai's older brother made that journey on his behalf. What followed was a pilgrimage through India and encounters with yogis and spiritual teachers, continuing a journey that Jai had so wanted to experience.
Together, the two books tell a much bigger story.
A story about a father and his son.
About loss and love.
About ancient wisdom and modern life.
And about the possibility that even our most painful experiences can open us to a different way of seeing and experiencing life.
If you've never read Jai's Story, start with Part One and continue the journey into India with Part Two. ❤️
