Orange Accuracy is extremely excited to announce T•H•E• (Train•Hunt•Eat•) COURSE being held in Otago, South Island, New Zealand.

This 5 day Long Range shooting course and adventure is only open to 4 shooter per course. With positions being filled on a first come, first served bases.

Orange Accuracy have secured the following dates for 2026:
• 17th - 21st September 2026 (Booked Out)
• 16th - 20th November 2026

T•H•E• COURSE package will include:
• 4 days of unmatched long range shooting training

• Gaining a New Zealand Fi****ms Licence / Permit

History. Today’s client shooting his late father-in-law’s (here-in know as ‘Legend’) the Legend’s rifle he inherited, at the Canberra Rifle Club.

The Legend is a member of the Royal Australian Regiment, and a veteran of the Korean War.

The Legend passed on his love of the outdoors and Australian bush to his daughter, today’s client’s wife. While training today he showed me a pic he received this afternoon of his wife and daughter, who were out bush walking, tracking wild deer, and had found some shed antlers from Fallow Deer.

THE RIFLE:
AUSTRALIA MOUNTAINEER
The official model name of the firearm line, produced by Howa Machinery in Japan.

RABBIDGE SPEC: custom-built to the precise technical specifications of Rabbidge, a prominent historic Australian fi****ms importer and distributor.

OBERON: Refers to Oberon, New South Wales (NSW), Australia. This indicates the regional destination or specific branding ties for the Australian distributor network, and where the Legend spent his time in the bush.

CANBERRA RIFLE CLUB:
Was officially founded by public petition at a meeting in the Acton Amusement Hall on May 26, 1914. - 116 years old.

The Clubs current facility was opened by the Governor General of Australia The Right Honourable Sir Paul Hasluck, C.C. M. Co, G. C.V.O., K.ST. J. with the approval of none less than, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
