Expressions of interest applications for the 2027 CRP Metro and CRP Peel Pilot placements have been extended to Monday 31st August 2026 (4:00pm AWST).
Expressions of interest are now open for the 2027 Metropolitan Community Residency Program (CRP) and the 2027 Peel Pilot placement with Silverchain.
The Metropolitan Community Residency Program (CRP) with Silverchain offers RMOs at FSH, RPH and SCGH the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community-based care within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
The Peel Pilot placement will be based at Silverchain's Peel office, adjacent to Peel Health Campus, and may be of particular interest to RMOs living in the Peel region or southern corridor.
RMOs remain employed by their primary hospital and are seconded to Silverchain for a term-long placement in Palliative Care.

Applications are now open for the General Practice Hospital Training Program (GPHTP) for 2027!
This is an opportunity for junior doctors planning to enter GP training within the next 18 months, GPHTP is built to set future GPs up for success. The program can provide trainees access to hospital rotations that genuinely prepare them for community GP training.
Key features include GP relevant rotations, personalised training needs assessments, and structured allocation.
Eligible applicants must hold a 2027 RMO contract at one of WA’s participating health services, including major metropolitan, private, and regional sites.
