The AGM for Langwarrin Junior Football Club is coming up on 18 November 2026.

The business of the AGM will include consideration of a Special Resolution to change the financial year dates in the Club's Constitution (PART 1 - PRELIMINARY, 3 FINANCIAL YEAR) from "The financial year of the Association is each period of 12 months ending on 31 Oct." to
"The financial year of the Association is each period of 12 months ending on 30 Sept.
The Executive Committee is proposing this change to enable the Club to hold its AGM earlier in the year, allowing for improved planning, budgeting and preparation for the upcoming football and netball season.
Members will be asked to consider and vote on the proposed change to the Club’s financial year.

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program is open! Get in quick as applications for a voucher will close at 10am on 22 October.

Meet Max O'Shea from our U11 Boys Blue team! Max has spent a long time growing out his mullet and has decided the time has come to cut it off. He's grown it to a length that means he will be donating the hair to Wigs4Kids with Cancer.
The big mullet chop is happening on 25 October and in the lead up, Max is also raising money for Kidney Health Australia. If you'd like to support him, his fundraising link is below:

Langy fam, this might be one of the proudest posts we've ever posted!

Last night, AFL Victoria held their annual awards night. We were very chuffed to be invited, to share the room with amazing contributors to community football across Victoria. And then in the last award of the night, the 2026 AFL Victoria Community Club of the Year was announced and Langwarrin Junior Football Club were named the winner!

Club President Brad McNeilage accepted this award on behalf of all of the Langy fam, thanking all of the players, families, volunteers, and everyone involved.

We are so honoured to receive this award and appreciate the recognition for the community we are building in Langwarrin and can't wait to continue to support this great community and continue to help it thrive in season 2027!
