Peel Community Men's Shed

A couple of nice old carved chairs we are currently renovating.

A busy day yesterday moving a 4Oft container full of timber and equipment from outside our existing shed into our proposed new shed. We are eagerly awaiting further positive news from the Mandurah Shire Council regarding a likely date for the Move.

This week we were invited to attend a preview inspection of the site and existing premises in Dower street by Mandurah City Council with a view to modifying the facility to accomodate the Lions club, multi function areas and a new 'Central' Men's Shed. The new premises would provide an opportunity to provide a broader range of pursuits for our increasing number of members and services to the local community.

We had a visit from Santa and his helpers at the Mens Shed showroom at Halls Head shopping centre, for Christmas in July.
It has begun to feel like Christmas weather in the old country lately BRRR !!!

Last Fridays get together, we have over 85 members now and this is less than 20 %. We are growing fast.
Our shed is getting too small to provide adequate facilities to meet the increase in local interest!
