Congratulations to Mackenzie and Ruby!
We would like to congratulate the athletes chosen to attend the team selection camp this weekend at the AIS in Canberra. Our remarkable athletes are headed to the 2026 VIBF World Basketball Cup (3x3), to be held in Bangkok, Thailand this November.
This program creates and delivers amazing opportunities, but it is the passion and commitment of the athletes and their families that deliver the results. But the months and months of hard work, training and practice are not enough.
This international travel is very expensive, and every campaign costs a small fortune. The team has had great support from Basketball Australia and many generous supporters over the years, but in truth, the majority of costs are borne by the athletes and their families. This tour is expected to cost at least $5,000 per player.
We need your help to get the Pearls to Bangkok and keep these amazing athletes competing on the world stage. Please donate now. Every dollar counts toward supporting our incredible young Australian women in realising their dream of representing Australia at this VIBF World Basketball Cup (3x3).
