It is so nice to see all the various posts on other group pages celebrating Jubilee Stadium . Keep it coming!

60 years ago Sunday, 15 May 1966, fans watch St George play Manly Warringah at Jubilee Oval. The fashions of the day, stand in contrast to the more informal attire of today’s fans!
The Dragons went on to defeat the Sea Eagles 34 to 15.

Ever wondered what goes into renovating a professional sports field? 🤔🏉⚽️

Over the past 6 weeks, at St. George Venues Jubilee Stadium, our grounds team have:
🌱 Trimmed back the couch grass
🔧 Removed old thatch and prepared the surface
🌾 Overseeded with rye and applied starter fertiliser
💧 Kept it well‑watered for fast germination
🌡️ Used grow cloth to boost soil temperature

The result? New grass started growing in just 5 days and was cut within two weeks. A huge effort behind the scenes to keep the pitch match‑ready for our clients!
