A Monday Moment....

If you were to write a book right now what would the title be??

"If I were to write a book, the title would be "Containing the Current".

The book would share heartfelt stories about finding new perspectives, deepening relationships, and better understanding the connections that bring us together."
Mollia

If you were to write a book today what would the title be???

Helping versus Fixing.....

We pride ourselves on our Neuroaffirming approach.

Neuroaffirming means recognizing and validating neurological differences—such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia—as natural variations of the human brain rather than disorders that need to be cured or fixed.

Children are not problems....they have problems.

We are here for you.

You Stepped Into Hope. Now, Let’s Keep Hope Going!

Two weeks later, we’re still feeling the love and support from our Step Into Hope community!

On September 9, families, friends, and supporters came together to celebrate FASD Awareness Day. Every smile, every connection, and every step reminded us that it takes a community to make a difference.

But our mission doesn’t end with one event.

Your donations help Harrison’s Hope continue providing education, caregiver support, advocacy, and meaningful resources for individuals and families living with FASD.

A Monday Moment with Aneila!

What was your favourite class in school?

"Dance....

I loved that it gave me a chance to get out of my head, move around, be creative, and just feel like myself for a little while.

There was something about learning choreography, moving to music, and being physically engaged that made the rest of the school day feel easier.

I didn’t have the language for it at the time, but looking back, I can see how much dance helped me reset and regulate.

Movement has always been one of the ways I naturally process stress, emotion, and energy, and I think dance was one of the first places where I really experienced how powerful that can be.

It’s funny to realize now that, even back then, I was already gravitating toward the things that helped me feel more grounded, connected, and present in my body."
