Checking your breasts regularly helps you know what feels normal for you, This makes it easier for you to notice any change.
Here’s a simple way to do a self-exam.
In front of the mirror:
Stand up straight, let your arms hang loosely by your sides and take a look at your breasts. Then lift your arms to shoulder height and then above your head. Keep an eye out for visible changes like dimpling, skin changes, or differences in shape and size.
While checking: Use your three middle fingers and gentle pressure to feel your breasts in a regular pattern – and don’t forget your underarms.
Look out for lumps, firm areas, changes to your ni***es, or unusual patches of skin.
Once a month. A small ritual that can mean so much.

Call for Vendors! Canada Day on the LaHave

Be a part of Canada Day as a vendor in our Outdoor Market on King Street!

As part of our day-long July 1st celebrations, we’re inviting makers, creators, organizations and even established businesses, to be a part of our Canada Day Outdoor Vendor Market on King Street.

Running from 11am to 5pm, this market is FREE to participate in. We anticipate creating 10 x 10 foot ‘booths’ on King Street near Pijinuiskaq Park – the street will be for pedestrians from Dufferin Street to Empire Street, as well as the Old Bridge.

Vendors will be responsible to provide their own tables, chairs, canopy tents (note: power/water is not available).
