‼️Important Information-Adequan IM recall‼️

We want to make our clients aware of a recent manufacturer-issue recall involving a specific lot of Adequan IM (100mg/mL).

The recall was issued after glass fibres (particulate matter) were identified in retained samples from one lot of the product. ‼️Importantly, no adverse events associated with this lot have been reported at this time.

The affected lot is:
Lot #: 24416CA
Expiry: November 30, 2027

If you still have a vial from the affected lot, please discontinue use and contact our clinic. The manufacturer has advised that affected product sold should not be used. Both unopened and opened boxes/vials may be returned through our clinic for replacement, so please reach out to our team and we’ll guide you through the process.

If your horse has already received injections from this lot, there have been no reported adverse events associated with this recall. If you have any questions, or notice anything unusual, please don’t hesitate to contact our team. We’re happy to review your horse’s medical records and discuss any concerns.
