🥋 The second part of our special day was an incredible seminar with Professor Neto! Neto Estrela LOCAL

Professor Neto brought amazing energy to the mats, sharing great techniques, valuable details and plenty of positive vibes with everyone. It was also wonderful to train together and share this moment with the students from Local Jiu-Jitsu.

A big thank-you to Professor Neto and all the professors who joined us and helped make this experience so memorable.

A very special congratulations to our newly promoted students!

🩶 Matteo earned his grey belt! Since joining us as a young teenager, his positive attitude and great personality have made him someone everyone loves having around.

💙 Sadra earned his blue belt! His consistency, Jiu-Jitsu skills and natural ability to care for and guide our kids as a coach make us incredibly proud of the young man he is becoming.

🤎 Kamryn earned her brown belt! After nearly a decade of training, it is amazing to see the technical level she has achieved and how close she is getting to her black belt.

We are so proud of all three of you and excited for your next chapter! Thank you to everyone who shared the mats with us and made this day so special. 🙏💚

We’ve added MORE opportunities for our kids to train, learn, and grow! 💪🔥

✅ An additional NOGI Little Samurai (Ages 3–7) class!

🥋 SATURDAYS — MORE CLASSES!
✅ 9:30 AM — Little Samurai (Ages 3–7)
✅ 10:15 AM — Little Samurai (Ages 3–7) — one more Little Samurai class!
✅ 11:00 AM — Juniors & Teens (Ages 8–14) — NEW Saturday class!
✅ 12:00 PM — GI Adults 15+ (All Levels)

A very special purple belt promotion for Denys.
🟪🟪🟪🟪⬛️⬛️⬛️🟪🥋

Denys joined Samurai Spirit as a young teenager, and over the years we’ve had the privilege of watching him grow from a dedicated student into an incredible instructor, mentor, and role model.

He’s always been the kind of person who pays attention, cares about his training partners, and brings a positive attitude to everything he does. From volunteering with our kids program to teaching kids, adults, and No-Gi, he has given so much to our team.

Now he’s heading to Edmonton for university, and while we’re going to miss having him on the mats, we couldn’t be more proud of the man he’s become.

Denys, congratulations on your purple belt! 💜
We know this is just the beginning of everything you’re going to accomplish.
