Let’s be honest… every parent deserves an award!

From enrolment, to equipment round up, and making it to all the games and tournaments and practices 👏🏿👏🏻👏🏼👏🏾

Some awards are given. 💙Some awards your fellow team parents will award you. 💙 And some, well some are earned 👀

🗓️The Human Calendar Award — For knowing every practice, game, tournament, and team event by heart.
📣 The Loudest Cheer Award — For making sure their player/team can always hear them from the stands.
💙🤍The Blue & White Superfan Award — For wearing the most OBK gear than anyone else.
📸 The Sports Photographer Award — For getting decent pictures/videos
🧠 The Rules Expert Award — For being knowledgeable about lacrosse rules.
🍕 The Snack Table Award — For always showing up with enough snacks to feed the entire team + sideline crew.
🫶 The Newest, Biggest Supporter Award — For being there through the wins, losses, injuries, and tough practices
🏰 The Knight in Shining Armour Award — For always knowing when your player need tough love, a hug, or the best parent pep talk
🥅 The Between-the-Pipes Parent Award — For being the ultimate goalie-parent: calm under pressure and always carrying a smile
📣 The Long-Distance Cheer Captain Award — For leading the fan club from wherever you are.

You came to Oshawa Minor Lacrosse as kids with sticks in your hands… and leave as athletes, teammates, leaders, and memories we will all cheer for forever. 💙

To our graduating lacrosse players: this isn’t goodbye — it’s “see you on the floor.”

Your time in Oshawa may be changing, but your lacrosse journey is just getting started. We can’t wait to watch where that journey takes you, celebrate your wins, and cheer you on every step of the way- both on and off the floor. 🥍💙

We have made the decision that we will not be forming Sixes teams for the 2026 season.

💙We appreciate everyone who took the time to respond and show interest in the program. We hope to be able to offer Sixes again.

👀Please watch out for Fall programming separate to the Sixes season, and we hope to see you all at Prep for Rep in January.
