After a successful fundraiser golf tournament last summer, CHCC will be holding its traditional golf tourney this summer with the emphasis on fun and collegiality. It will be a nice social get-together before the reopening of our club this fall.

As the first anniversary of the fire approaches, we are happy to announce the successful completion of our fundraising goals for the fire restoration.

We wish to thank everyone who has helped us reach this goal.

Great news! We will receive the keys to our newly rebuilt club mid-July and our first day of curling will be October 5th!

It's been a long, challenging season, but we are looking forward to being home!

Carleton Heights Curling Club is pleased to invite you to an exciting Music Trivia Night on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Turn up the volume on your brainpower for a lively evening packed with chart-toppers, one-hit wonders, and all your favourite guilty pleasures. Whether you’re a Boomer, Gen X, or Millennial, this event promises a great mix of music and memories. It’s a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow members, bring friends, and enjoy a fun night out together.

This is a fun-raiser, not a fundraiser. We’re simply getting together to have a good time and see if you can name that tune. Most clues and categories will be audio-based, but there are a few surprises mixed in to keep you on your toes.

Teams of four are recommended but not required.
$20 per person.
Licensed event. Snacks will be provided. Cash only bar.
50/50 draw.

The 26th Crystal Heart Bonspiel was a huge success this year, thanks in part to the strong showing of the nine Carleton Heights teams. Two teams participated in the Open Division and seven teams in the Seniors. Team Blackman Overton played in the semi-final Senior Consolation Event and Team Smith won the Consolation Event.

Goldline Curling is our new Title Sponsor and provided many prizes including brooms and curling accessories to the top four individual donations to Heart and Stroke. The final total raised at the Gala was a record $77,916. Final totals will be published later this month. The twenty-six year total is $1, 257,900.

Congratulations to our U12 Boys team who won Zone 3 to qualify for the OVCA Championships in March.

A curling club runs on the volunteer efforts of many people at both the league and club level. The past year has been a challenging one for the club and many of its members, but thanks to many volunteers we will reopen our newly rebuilt facility in September.

This Call for Nominations is a call to all members to step forward and volunteer to help us create a renewed inviting place and welcoming atmosphere in which to enjoy the sport of curling and socializing with good friends in the years to come.

The terms of all incumbent Directors on the CHCC Board end as of April 30th 2026. Nominations are therefore being sought for all Board positions, with elections to these positions to be held as part of the February 2026 AGM.

Nominations Close February 7th
The Board’s Nominations Committee strongly encourages all adult members to consider supporting our club by volunteering to stand for one of these positions.

The Committee will be accepting nominations for all of the above positions until February 7th 2026. Nominations should be sent to the club Secretary at [email protected] . Please include your name and the position you are interested in. If you are nominating someone else for a position, then please ensure that you have obtained their prior consent before doing so.

As we will be curling at different clubs this upcoming season, it is important to take advantage of opportunities to come together as a community. Friday’s gathering will be an opportunity to catch up with fellow members, ask questions about the upcoming season, hear updates on the reconstruction, and spend time together. We encourage all members to drop in.

Our popular Adult Learn to Curl program is back for 2025!

Due to the fire at the club back in April, we are relocating to the RA Curling Club for the 2025/26 Learn to Curl Season.

9 weeks of curling instruction starting October 19th, led by CHCC members - all equipment is supplied.

Registration is limited to 28 new curlers.
