After 2 long months WE'RE BACK!! Pleased to announce the resumption of badminton court rentals! New measures in place to ensure social distancing, maximum persons in attendance per court rental is 4, we kindly ask you not to arrive too early for your reservation to keep crowds from forming. 604-325-5128 or email [email protected] with name, phone # and date and time requested for reservations.

Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, I imagine badminton nowadays will be like the 1930s prohibition days…. Badminton speakeasies all over California. They serve Gatorade and chicken skewers in peanut sauce (satay ayam). You’d pay by the minute. Default charge is 10 minutes for $10 dollars. If you order 1 hour it’s only $40 plus you get a free stay ayam. To get in, there will be questions of in-depth badminton knowledge. Who can answer and get in?

1. Who’s the current ws world ranking no.1?
2. Which club in Indonesia had 7 players out of 8 in the Thomas cup which made the club famous?
3. How do you pronounce the club name from the last question?
4. Which company made the shuttlecocks for Olympics? and what type (designation)?
5. Who taught the Chinese competition badminton? What decade?
6. Who's "The King" in badminton of the 1970s?

Dear Badminton community, friends and family,

Due to the recent COVID -19 outbreak, Badminton Vancouver will be closing to the public effective March 19 at 3:00pm. While there are guidelines in place such as social distancing and enhanced disinfection procedures, the health of our staff and patrons comes first.
