🏁 THE DAKAR HAS ARRIVED! 🇨🇦 After a very long journey from Austin, it is finally on The Rock thanks to the folks at Interlane shipping. A huge thank you to Paul Abbott for allowing us to unload the Dakar at his home and giving our team a place to finish some last-minute prep that didn’t get done before the car left Austin. Paul, we really appreciate the hospitality! ✅ The people made it. ✅ The tools made it. ✅ The tires made it. ✅ The luggage made it. ✅ AND NOW THE CAR MADE IT! Everybody and everything is finally in Newfoundland. Targa 2026 hits the roads of Newfoundland this Saturday morning. The official start is 9:30 a.m. at the Mary Brown’s Centre in downtown St. John’s. If you’re in town, come check out the cars, meet the teams, and cheer them on!

Black Flag Sarcoma Racing have arrived! Porsche GT3 on the Rock.

Two more CFAs* have arrived in Newfoundland and Labrador. They drove from Ontario through Quebec into Labrador. Next will be the ferry to Newfoundland and the long drive to St. John’s. Corey Finkelstein, our commercial director and past competitor, and photographer extraordinaire Larry Strung have made the trip to Targa an adventure in itself.

*Come From Away refers to any visitor to Newfoundland and Labrador. It’s also a beloved musical about the people of Gander and surrounding communities such as Glenwood and Appleton taking in thousands of stranded airline passengers after 9/11. Targa will visit all three this month.
