Fawning is a response from your nervous system. It lets us know when we are not feeling safe.

Isn’t that good to know?

These books changes how I saw my own trauma responses.

So much so that I created my own YouTube playlist with Kundalini Yoga resources to support your nervous system as you address the pattern of fawning.

It will change your life, how you love yourself and who you are want to connect with.

Comment SAFE and I’ll DM you my YouTube playlist so you can explore in more detail.

This is the origin of Fawning.

Your nervous system adapted to relational harm by figuring out how to safe in dangerous situations.

Being quiet, disappearing, being agreeable, reading the room, comforting harmful people. Does this sound familiar?

I made these three mistakes about Fawning:

1. Calling it people pleasing no one is pleased.

2. It’s coming from the Nervous System. It is a response to relational harm.

3. The body needs support to discharge the stored emotion and to respond differently. Kundalini Yoga was my solution.

You learned to read the room before you learned to trust yourself.

We labelled ourselves Empaths. But this is actually a nervous system response shaped by years of keeping others comfortable.

This is the Fawn response. And you can learn to recognize it and work with it to change the trajectory of your life.

We’ve all done it. Comment below. Share your story. You’re not alone.

I inherited this pendent from my mum. It was a gift from her Italian boyfriend who she was not allowed to marry. I learned fawning from her and then add my own flavour.

Does this sound familiar? If it does, you’re in good company.

So many of us learned to put our own needs aside to keep other people comfortable.

Identifying and befriending your Fawn response as an adult can help you recognize where you don’t feel safe, understand why you keep abandoning your own needs, and begin reclaiming your sovereignty.

Comment SAFE and I’ll send you my free YouTube series on Fawning, with practices to help you understand and work with this nervous system response.

Fawning is a relational trauma response. It helps explains why you are nice to alll the mean people in your life, why you have forgotten your needs along the way. AND it will also show you who you should no longer prioritize in your life.

That’s a big deal.
