✨ Movement Monday: Wheel Pose ✨

This week we’re exploring Wheel Pose (Urdhva Dhanurasana), a powerful heart-opening posture that invites both strength and vulnerability.

Physically, Wheel can help build strength through the legs, glutes, arms, and back while opening the chest, shoulders, and front body. It encourages deeper breathing, improved mobility, and a sense of energy and vitality throughout the body.

On a deeper level, Wheel is often associated with the heart chakra, inviting us to lead with compassion, courage, and trust. As we lift into the pose, we are reminded that opening our hearts doesn’t mean being without fear it means staying open to connection, growth, and possibility even when things feel uncertain.

Whether you’re practicing a full Wheel, a supported variation, or simply taking a moment to connect with your breath, every expression of the pose is welcome.

May this week’s practice encourage you to soften where you can, strengthen where you need to, and remain open to the beauty of being part of a community that grows together. 💛

Register for any class on June 21 using your regular pass. When you arrive, simply let us know you’re joining us for Father’s Day and we’ll convert your visit to a complimentary Father’s Day pass.
