We provide membership and recreational programming opportunities for 29,000 U of M students, faculty & staff, alumni and the general public. 💪 Body Composition Assessment
Go beyond the scale with a detailed analysis of your body composition, including skinfolds, girth measurements, and InBody BIA. You'll receive a breakdown of lean and fat mass, your estimated basal metabolic rate, and personalized guidance to help you reach your goals.

🏃 Functional Movement Analysis
Move better and reduce your risk of injury. Using seven movement tests, we'll assess your mobility, stability, alignment, and movement patterns, then provide a follow-up session with corrective exercises tailored to your needs.

🫀 VO₂ Max Assessment
Take the guesswork out of your training. Using direct gas analysis, we'll measure your maximum oxygen uptake and heart rate, establish your cardiovascular fitness baseline, and provide personalized heart rate and pace training zones to help you train smarter.

🎉 Recreation Services Coordinator (Full-Time/Permanent)

We're looking for a motivated, organized professional to join the Recreation Services team! This position plays a key role in membership administration, member relations, promotions, reporting, and student staff coordination while supporting exceptional customer service across Recreation Services.

Qualifications:
✔ Completion of a formal training program in Recreation Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
✔ Minimum four years of experience in customer service, recreation, or a related business environment.
✔ Strong communication, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and balance operational responsibilities with project work.
✔ Experience with staff supervision, staff training, and hiring is preferred.

We offer a variety of Adult Programs, both indoors and outdoors, to keep you moving all summer long. Our 1-on-1 and Group Personal Training can help you reach your fitness goals. Rec Clubs are open to students, staff, and alumni, with a variety of sports and activities to get involved in.
