Our final Junior Learn-to-Row of the summer starts THIS WEEK. If someone you know is interested please visit www.winnipegrowingclub.ca for more information and to sign up.

Looking forward to welcoming Minneapolis Rowing Club, Winnipeg Rowing Club, Thunder Bay Rowing Club, Minnesota Boat Club and Pinawa to Rabbit Lake for Saturday’s races. Racing will be underway f7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Spectators welcome!

The Winnipeg Rowing Club is co-hosting the annual "Tops & Bottoms Regatta" on July 25th along with the Kenora Rowing Club - and we are seeking volunteers for the following positions:

Boat-holders at start line
Kitchen helpers
BBQ helpers
Timers at finish line
Safety boat drivers

Long-time Winnipeg Rowing Club member Jim Nykoluk recently celebrated his 90th birthday! 🎂

Dozens of Jim's family and friends gathered at the WRC to take part in his special day. It was an honour to discover just how much he has contributed not only to the sport of rowing - but also to hockey, and to golf, and to so many other communities.

Jim has rightfully earned a legendary reputation in Winnipeg's sporting world - and also at the Winnipeg Rowing Club. We're grateful that he is part of our community, and we wish him many more happy birthdays!

The Winnipeg Rowing Club is taking Part in the Rowing Canada Aviron "Come Try Rowing" events happening all across Canada this weekend!

This Friday June 12, drop in at the WRC between 4-9pm and try out rowing in one session. The cost is $25 per person.

The Winnipeg Rowing Club's "Learn to Row" summer programming is now open for registrations!

Designed for adults 18+, this beginner-friendly course will teach you the basics of rowing during 6 x 2-hour classes. No rowing or paddling experience is necessary, and all athletic skill levels are welcome and encouraged.

Spots fill up quickly, so be sure to register soon.

The Winnipeg Rowing Club is taking part in the "Open Doors Winnipeg" event this upcoming weekend. Guests are invited to drop-in at the WRC to tour the boathouse, learn about the equipment, watch demonstrations, try dockside rowing, and discover more about the long and proud tradition of the sport in Winnipeg since 1881.
