With the upcoming season right around the corner.. We are still happily accepting your "retired" curling brooms!!

St. Vital Curling Club is looking for donations of gently used curling brooms! If you’ve upgraded your equipment and have an old broom you’re no longer using, consider giving it a second life at the club.

Donated brooms will help us make curling more accessible to new curlers and those trying out the sport.

St. Vital Curling Club is looking for curlers to join our rental leagues this season! Our Curlettes, Manitoba Hydro, and Saturday Evening Mixed leagues are specifically looking for new players or teams, but we have plenty of other leagues that would be happy to welcome some new talent too.

Whether you’re an experienced curler or just looking for a fun, social way to get out on the ice, there’s a place for you in our curling community.

🥌 Mixed Doubles Rule Update for the 2026–27 Season! 🥌

World Curling has updated the marked stone placement locations for Mixed Doubles, increasing them from 3 placement points to 4.

The placement points are measured from where the tee line intersects the 8-foot the reference point for the stone positioned in the house to the midpoint of the hack.

The updated method is designed to ensure that neither right-handed nor left-handed players receive an advantage.

Our Junior program has been part of some big names upbringing, and registration is still open!!

Come and join our Saturday and Sunday leagues!

Saturday from 3-5pm is our beginner/novice league, ages 5-12 - a great program to learn the fundamentals of the game, strategy and technical skills.
Sunday 3-5 pm continues the beginner/novice with age ranging 10-14. This league continues to broaden strategy, and technical skills really working on perfecting our young athletes.
Sunday 5-7pm league is our junior competitive program. This league you’ll see a lot of the teams that are competing in the MJCT and the age range is 21 and under. You’ll get see some great games and a wide range of competitors in this draw.

🥌 PRACTICE ICE AVAILABLE! 🥌

Getting ready for the season or competing in the Larry Jones Classic? We’ve got practice ice available at St. Vital Curling Club from September 26–30 for $55/hour.

Junior teams competing in the Larry Jones Classic:

Practice ice will be free of charge during September 26–30!

A discount code will be provided to teams registered on or before September 13th. The code will be sent directly to the registered team.

Evening league & rental league members:

Practice ice will be $55/hour until your leagues get underway.

Member discount codes will be provided closer to the start of league play.

Get your practice time booked and get ready to hit the ice! 🥌

Practice ice is open to all members of the community during the season, October thru March, for a fee of $50 per hour taxes included. Club members are entitled to one free hour of practice ice per week and will receive a booking code from their league coordinator. Bookings can be made online here:
