As we open to summer and the Summer Solstice on June 21st, we arrive at the peak of the light.

After a long winter and spring of unfolding, nature stands in full bloom. The days are long, the evenings stretch on, and everything seems to radiate with life. The Solstice marks the height of this expression, a moment when all that has been growing reaches toward the sun.

There is something beautiful about pausing here. Before the days slowly begin to shorten again, we are offered a moment to appreciate where we are, what we have been building toward, and what is now coming into bloom.

Like all significant moments in nature’s cycle, the Solstice invites reflection. It reminds us that we, too, are part of these rhythms. As the Earth turns and the seasons shift, we have an opportunity to reconnect with the natural world around us and the unfolding taking place within us.

As we reach the Summer Solstice, we also enter Cancer season. A season of nurture, belonging, community, and tending to the roots that sustain us. A reminder that growth is not only found in reaching upward, but also in caring for what supports us beneath the surface.

What a beautiful way to enter summer: in the light, in community, and in devotion to ourselves, to one another, and to the simple moments that nourish us.

Bruna is a tooth gem artist visiting us from Portugal. She runs her own studio called Atelier Salvia in her hometown and works at Bat Country Tattoo in the city of Porto. Bruna has years of experience and is ready with fun designs. The prices start from 350kr (mobile pay) and you book by showing up and putting your name on the list during our open house 13.00 - 17.00.
