Congratulation to Oliver Hall & Sam Irwin for winning the U18 500 & U14 500 at David Lloyd’s Junior Open this week. Fantastic achievement for both boys 👏 Another massive well done to Lily Hall for winning the U16 500 plate and Jonah reach the Green Ball final. Fantastic week of tennis. Special mention to 6 of our red ball players who all took part in the event with some great matches being played.

Congratulations to BLTC players Lily Hall and Sam Irwin who were selected to represent Ulster at the U14 Interprovincial championships this weekend at Cavehill. Ulster managed to finish runner up with Leinster finishing first 🎾 👏 Well done Lily & Sam and the U14 team

🎾 Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first day of our junior club this morning along with our performance squad straight after. 3 Fully booked sessions! It was a great success and we’re thrilled to see so many enthusiastic young players on the court. We look forward to seeing our new junior club members grow and improve their tennis skills. It’s the end of an era at Bangor LTC. Chris and I will no longer be coaching at the club. The past 10 years have been an absolute blast, and we’ve cherished every moment of our coaching journey. Thank you to everyone who joined our classes and lessons over the years! Your support has meant the world to us. Although we won’t be part of the new setup, we wish Andy and the team the very best moving forward.

Brilliant few weeks for Oliver Hall who after winning the mixed doubles Under 18 at Boat Club, went on to win the U16 Singles at Malahide and got selected for the U18 interprovincial team. Hoping Oliver can keep this excellent form going into the Irish Junior Open at Fitz this week🙌🤞🤩

Big congrats to coach Harry Ellesmere and his partner Jordan McKeown, who won the Men’s doubles title at the NI Open in Hillsborough. Harry also reached the semi finals in the Men’s singles which was a great achievement. Special mention to their biggest supporter Toby Ellesmere who was thrilled with the win. Also a big well done to both Oliver and Lily Hall, who made the final and semi-finals in their respective age groups in the Bray Junior Open. Oliver narrowly lost the U16 T500 final in a match tiebreak, whilst Lily fought hard and came up against strong opposition in the U14 T500 semi-finals. Both displayed great tennis this week and will look to keep the momentum going in their School’s Cup finals for the Bangor Grammar intermediate and Glenlola junior team, with the matches being played at the club this coming week. A great start to the tennis summer 🎾 ☀️ 🙌
